Open Day Care Centers

If you have run out of ways to entertain your baby or you just need a break, or you want to meet other mums and dads, go to the Open Day Care Center in your bydel! No signing up is needed, you can just show up. The parent has to be present, but you can place your baby on a mat with tons of toys around while you chill with a cup of coffee and a waffle :) It´s also a great way to meet other parents in your neighbourhood.
The following "bydeler" offer open day care.
Gamle Oslo. Åpen barnehage på Grønland in Grønland 30. opening hours 9-14 Mondays to Thursdays. For children aged 0-2 years.
Vestre Aker. Tusenbein åpen barnehage in Hovseterveien 70-72. For children aged 0-6 years. Mondays to Thursdays 9-14.
Grunerløkka. Grunerløkka åpen barnehage in Grunerløkka helsestasjon in Mailundveien. Mondays 9 - 13 and Thursdays 14 - 16 for children from 0 to 3.
St.Hanshaugen. The open day care in Akersveien has closed down and there is currently no open day care in St.Hanshaugen :( But the Disen Gård one in Nordre Aker is open for everyone, regardless of where you live :) See below.
Sagene. Vannvokterboligen familiehus in Bjølsen. For children aged 0-2 years. Tuesdays and Thursdays 12.30 to 15.30.
Åsenhagen åpen barnehage in Åsengata 21. For children aged 0-5 years. Mondays and Wednesdays 9.30-15.
Frogner. Frogner Familiesenter in Prof. Dahlsgata 44b. Every day 10-15.
Majorstua. Child Planet. Advanced open day care! Every day 12-13.30. Entrance fee 60kr.
Nordre Aker. Regnbuen Open Day Care Center in Kjelsås. Mondays-Thursdays 10-13.30. Fridays 10-13.
Disen Gård Kanvas-barnehage. Monday to Thursday 9.45-13.45. OPEN FOR EVERYBODY, not only the ones who live in the bydel!
Bjerke. Bjerke Familiesenter at Veitvedt senter. For children aged 0-6 years. Every weekday 10.30-14.30, except Wednesdays.
Alna. 2 Open Day Care Centers in Furuset and Haugerud. Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 10-14. Stroll every other Wednesday.
Ullern. Familiens Hus at in Hoff Terrasse. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9 to 14.30.
Grorud. Grorud Åpen Barnehage in Ammerudhellinga 47. Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 10-14.
Nordstrand. Karlsrud Åpen Barnehage. Mondays to Thursdays 9.30-13.30.
Leker´n Åpen Barnehage. Every day 9.30-14. 10kr per family. Children 0 to 5.
